When we were first called for a webinar we were clueless about what was Umoor iqtesadiyah!!!??? Then when we were walked through it we realized that this venture will promote business in women and help them grow. This created an excitement within us. Then we were challenged when someone brought forward a suggestion of doing an exhibition. So the thought turned into an idea that let us turn this to an event we can remember, an event which will help muminaat prosper, uplift them and create a connection between each other.

And so started 'Blossom: where you are planted' a brandname which promoted brands which had no names, created a platform for women who had home businesses. And made them aware of the market and customers around them. Also we taught them to present their products with proper packaging and presentation to attract customers and also started an eco-friendly drive wherein all packaging is done in paper bags or cloth bags. Food items which are packed have a manufacturing and expiry date to it.

So on the auspicious day, Milad of Imam uz Zaman AS on 4th of Rabiul Aakhar 1441, it was a rainy Sunday morning, we had the most awaited opening of Blossom on the hands of Murtazabhai Saheb. We had a short majlis with tilawatul quran and a short introductory speech. Ummal Kiraam from Burhani masjid Janab Sk Taherbhai Rashid and Janab Sk. Gulamabbas from Qutbi masjid also graced the occasion.

Then Murtazabhai saheb went to each stall and interacted with the stall owners. It was a very successful event, with a very knowledgeable workshop, a magic show, hunar counters, on the spot mehndi application, game stalls and food stalls with delicious mouthwatering delicacies which were sold out at the end of the day.

All the stall owners were delighted with the turnover and their stalls were so beautifully decorated and meticulously arranged that whoever came to the exhibition were really impressed. It was definitely a day to remember.
