Nature of Transactions
All payments made on this website are voluntary donations made with free will and religious intent.
The Trust does not sell goods, services, subscriptions, or memberships, and no commercial consideration is involved.
Purpose and Utilisation of Donations
Funds received are applied exclusively towards purposes permitted under:
- Dawoodi Bohra religious principles
- The Trust Deed
- Applicable laws of India
These purposes include religious activities, community welfare, charitable assistance, education, and essential administrative expenses necessary for lawful operation.
Donor Representation
By making a donation, the contributor represents and confirms that:
- They are legally authorised to make the donation.
- The funds originate from lawful and ethical sources
- The donation does not violate any law, regulation, or religious obligation
Payment Gateway Processing
Payments are processed through third-party payment gateway service providers authorised under Indian law.
The Trust does not store, process, or retain any card details, UPI credentials, net banking information, or other sensitive financial data.
Accuracy of Information
Contributors are responsible for providing accurate details during the donation process.
The Trust is not responsible for failed transactions arising from incorrect information, bank rejections, or gateway-related technical issues.
Limitation of Liability
The Trust shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising due to:
- Payment gateway downtime
- Banking network failures
- Technical interruptions beyond the Trust’s control
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Courts in Bengaluru shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
Governance and Authority
The Trust functions under the religious guidance and authority of His Holiness Dr. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin (TUS).
Administrative, financial, and operational matters of the Trust are managed by individuals or committees appointed or authorised from time to time, including the Anjuman / Jamaat Committee or Ummal Kiraam, in accordance with the Trust Deed, religious guidance, and applicable laws of India.
All decisions relating to the utilisation of funds, administration of the Trust, and interpretation of these Terms & Conditions shall be taken in alignment with such authority and governance structure.

Privacy Commitment
The Trust treats personal data as a sacred trust (amanat) and is committed to protecting the privacy of donors and visitors in compliance with applicable Indian data protection laws.

No sensitive payment information is collected or stored by the Trust.

Refund & Cancellation
Included below are the important terms regarding refunds & cancellations
General Policy
All donations made to Bangalore Jamaat are voluntary and non-refundable in nature.
Religious and Operational Basis
Donations are made with religious intent (niyyat) and are allocated for charitable and religious purposes.
Once a donation is successfully processed, it is generally not subject to cancellation or reversal.
Exceptional Circumstances
Refunds may be considered only in exceptional cases, such as:
- Duplicate transactions
- Proven technical errors attributable to the payment gateway
Any refund request must be submitted within a reasonable timeframe and will be reviewed at the sole discretion of the Trust.
Refund Processing
If approved, refunds will be processed to the original mode of payment and timelines will be subject to banking and payment gateway norms.
The Trust does not guarantee refund timelines once the request is handed to the payment processor.
